Psychological care focused on turning intention into real, sustainable change

I work with adults who want to improve their health, wellbeing, and quality of life—but feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many are navigating the intersection of stress, high expectations, and physical health concerns, and are looking for a more thoughtful, personalized approach to care. My work integrates mental and physical health, helping you make meaningful, sustainable changes in how you live, work, and care for yourself.
My practice is intentionally small, allowing me to offer focused, individualized care. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable, yet find that stress, mood symptoms, chronic health conditions, or repeated false starts have made change feel more difficult or discouraging. Rather than relying on willpower or one-size-fits-all strategies, I work collaboratively with clients to understand what’s getting in their way and to build the insight, confidence, and momentum needed for meaningful, sustainable change.
Who This Work Is For
We may be a good therapy fit if you are an adult who:

-
Wants change but feels stuck. You know what you want for your health, wellbeing, or daily habits, but making consistent progress has felt harder than expected.
-
Is thoughtful and motivated. You value evidence-based care and are ready to invest time and effort into meaningful change
-
Has tried before. Past attempts at change may not have stuck, and you're looking for an approach that respects your experience rather than giving you generic advice or asking you to "try harder".
-
Is navigating competing demands. Stress, health challenges, or a busy life may be getting in the way, and you want support navigating those obstacles without judgment.
This work may not be the best fit for you if:
-
You are looking for traditional weekly therapy focused primarily on emotional processing, without an emphasis on action or behavioral change.
-
You need insurance-based or low-cost therapy options.
-
You are not ready to examine the possibility of change.
If this therapy approach feels like a good fit for you, I invite you to reach out to see if there's availability in my limited telehealth practice.
Online Therapy Services
I provide online psychotherapy (telehealth) for adults across 40+ states (PSYPACT). Telehealth allows you the flexibility to receive care wherever you are in a PSYPACT-participating state, while maintaining privacy, consistency, and ease of access. Session length is determined collaboratively, in order to ensure that we have time to explore the changes you'd like to make, reflect on what has helped you to successfully make changes in the past, identify what may be getting in the way now, and develop practical strategies for increasing your motivation and follow-through.
My approach is personalized, client-centered, and collaborative. Together, we focus on clarifying goals, resolving ambivalence, and building confidence in your ability to make changes that align with your values and circumstances. Whether your goal is to change health behaviors, manage stress, or enhance overall well-being, sessions are guided by your priorities.

Because I maintain a limited caseload, I am able to be fully present and responsive to the clients I work with. Sessions are self-pay only, which allows for flexibility and depth of care without the constraints of insurance-driven treatment models.
Common Focus Areas in Therapy
Many people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who understand what they want for their health and wellbeing but feel frustrated by how hard change has been to sustain.
Clients I work with often come to therapy with a desire to make meaningful, lasting changes in their health, wellbeing, or daily functioning. My work commonly focuses on:

-
Strengthening motivation and follow-through when change feels important but difficult to sustain
-
Supporting health behavior change, including sleep, eating, movement, and adherence to medical regimens
-
Navigating chronic illness, including fatigue, pain, uncertainty, and questions of meaning and purpose
-
Addressing substance use patterns when they are impacting health, functioning, or long-term wellbeing
-
Addressing mood and anxiety when they interfere with engagement, confidence, or daily routines
-
Managing work-related stress, preventing burnout, and restoring a sense of balance and professional meaning
-
Building resilience and creating sustainable patterns that support long-term wellbeing

Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, my work emphasizes identifying what really matters to each client, strengthening motivation, increasing resilience, and building clarity, confidence, and momentum needed for meaningful, sustainable change.

My Approach
My work is grounded in health psychology, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, an evidence-based approach designed to support meaningful change, growth, and learning. I view motivation as something that can be understood and strengthened, rather than forced. Sessions are collaborative and respectful, with an emphasis on autonomy, curiosity, and practical application.

I aim to create a space where clients feel supported in examining what matters to them, what may be holding them back, and how to move forward in a way that feels both realistic and self-directed.
Getting Started
If you're considering therapy and this approach sounds like a good fit for you, I invite you to reach out to explore whether working together would be a good fit. I offer a brief initial consultation to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine whether my approach is the right match for your needs.

Because my practice is intentionally small, availability is limited, and openings are offered selectively. I work best with clients who value personalized, evidence-based care and are ready to engage thoughtfully in the process of change.

I am a licensed, PSYPACT psychologist providing telehealth psychotherapy services to adults across over 40 PSYPACT participating states. Sessions are self-pay only.
