Online Psychotherapy (Telehealth)

I provide secure, confidential online, telehealth therapy for adults across 40+ states. Telehealth allows clients to receive care from home or another private location, making therapy more accessible and easier to integrate into daily life. Online therapy is conducted through a HIPAA-compliant video platform and provides the same evidence-based care as in-person therapy.

What Online Therapy Is Like

Sessions are held via secure video and follow the same structure and clinical standards as in-person therapy. Many clients find online therapy to be:

  • More convenient and consistent

  • Easier to fit into busy schedules

  • More comfortable than traveling to an office

  • Easier to maintain during travel or life transitions

All you need is:

  • A private space

  • Reliable internet connection

  • A device with a camera and a microphone

Is Online Therapy Effective?

Research consistently shows that telehealth psychotherapy is effective for many of the same concerns treated in traditional in-person therapy, including anxiety, depression, stress, and health-related behavior change. For many clients, outcomes are comparable to in-person care.

Where I Practice

I am licensed in North Carolina and Florida and am also an authorized PSYPACT provider (APIT), which allows me to offer telehealth therapy to clients located in 40+ participating states.

You can check whether your state participates in PSYPACT here:

Privacy and Security

I use secure, HIPAA-compliant technology designed specifically for healthcare. I will provide instructions before your first session so you know exactly what to expect.

Is Online Therapy Right for You?

Online therapy is often a good fit if you:

  • Are comfortable using video technology

  • Have access to a private space for sessions

  • Prefer flexibility and convenience

  • Value continuity of care even when traveling or during life transitions

I frequently collaborate with concierge and specialty medical practices when therapy is supporting health behavior change, treatment adherence, or adjustment to medical conditions.

If you’re unsure whether telehealth is a good fit, we can discuss it during an initial consultation.
